Daniel Correa Jr. is a proud Chicago native and the first in his family to graduate from college, a testament to his unwavering commitment to education and community. As a graduate of the Chicago Public School system, he has always been passionate about creating opportunities for growth and advancement, both for himself and others in his community.

Currently, Daniel serves as Director of Workforce Development at the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing workforce initiatives and enhancing career opportunities within the aviation sector. Through his efforts, he inspires individuals to explore and pursue careers in aviation, helping to shape the future of this critical industry. His career in aviation began when he oversaw Concessions Development and Operations at both O’Hare and Midway International Airports, where he gained invaluable experience in the industry’s operations.

Before joining CDA, Daniel served as a Senior Business Consultant at the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP), where he played an instrumental role in supporting the startup and expansion of businesses across all 77 neighborhoods of Chicago. Daniel also brings extensive experience in institutional and private client services, having worked at prestigious institutions like J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Daniel is deeply committed to serving his community. He actively supports the airport community as a member of the Customer Experience Staff Brigade team and contributes to his neighborhood through volunteer work at his local church. Daniel holds an MBA from Northeastern Illinois University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
