Cristian Jesus Biviano is a dedicated Human Resources professional focused on strengthening organizations and communities through strategic HR initiatives, talent acquisition, and inclusive workplace cultures. With over a decade of experience across global corporations and local government, he specializes in talent management, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), workforce planning, and leadership development. His work bridges corporate objectives with DEI values, fostering professional growth at all career levels.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Olam Food Ingredients (OFI), he leads university relations and diversity initiatives, overseeing OFI’s North America internship program and enhancing inclusive recruitment. Previously, as DEI Programs Manager at Cook County Government, he spearheaded key DEI efforts, including Racial Equity Week, shaping policies that impacted over 325 employees.

Cristian’s commitment to education and social justice was evident in his leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As Program Director for Social Justice and Leadership Education, he developed curriculum reaching over 2,400 employees and 9,000 students annually. As an instructor at the University of Illinois, he taught courses such as Impact of Mass Incarceration and How to Build Inclusive Communities, earning recognition as an Outstanding Instructor. 

Beyond academia, he serves as President of the University of Illinois Latina/Latino Alumni Association, expanding board membership and launching scholarships. Cristian is also Executive Director of Biviano Career Services LLC, consulting organizations on unconscious bias training, cultural competence, and workforce equity. He has achieved significant milestones throughout his career. He was honored as one of the 50 most influential alumni for La Casa Cultural Latina’s 50th Anniversary Celebration at the University of Illinois. Additionally, through the Latina/Latino Alumni Association, he awarded $10,000 in scholarships, providing crucial support to future leaders. Holding master’s degrees in HR and Education, he continues to drive transformative change in DEI.
