ChicagoMSDC names Jose Robles-Michelena as its Executive VP and Chief of Staffs

Chicago, HINA Wire – The Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council (CMSDC) appointed Jose Robles-Michelena as its new Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff.

Before accepting his position at ChicagoMSDC, Mr. Robles-Michelena led the U.S.-Mexico Partners, a boutique cross-border consulting firm, as Senior Managing Director.

He comes to us with over 30 years of corporate experience with operations, consulting, business development, marketing and finance. Mr. Robles-Michelena was responsible for assessing and understanding the needs of clients, with extensive experience in assisting global companies setting up operations in Mexico.

He developed, promoted, and upheld strategic alliances with international economic development agencies, Chambers of Commerce, and cross-border professional service providers such as accountants, commercial bankers, industrial and commercial real estate companies, customs brokers, and logistic companies to create a constructive environment and pipeline for companies interested in doing business in Mexico from the U.S. and Globally and connected them intentionally.

We found these existing skill sets to be in direct alignment with ChicagoMSDC’s four pillars enabling a succinct synergy.  Prior, he worked for Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone, P.L.C. , a prestigious law firm based in Detroit, Michigan, as a Business Manger where he was in charge of Business Development and Operations.

Mr. Robeles-Michelena holds a BA in Business Administration & Management from Universidad Inter-Continental of Mexico City and Graduate studies in Finance and Trade Markets, he is also fluent in Spanish his native language and an avid Triathlon participant.
