Chicago Cubs, PNC and Brennan Business School join Negocios Now celebration

English version – Chicago Cubs, PNC Bank and Brennan Business School – Dominican University join as Bronze Sponsors to celebrate the 10th  Anniversary of Negocios Now, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on July 14.

Two other companies announced their sponsorship as Small Business Sponsors of the event: the design company, MEPIS and TURIMED.

BMO Harris Bank is the Diamond sponsor for the third consecutive years. ComEd and Wintrust (Gold), Remy (Silver) as well as Coca Cola and People Gas (Bronze) are also sponsors.

Around 400 people have confirmed their attendance at the event that recognizes the leadership of the Latino community in Chicago.

“We are very excited and pleased by the tremendous support. We could not be here, 10 years later, without the support of corporations, leaders and many members of the Chicago community, said Clemente Nicado, publisher.

During the Negocios Now  Gala event, Latino leaders will be acknowledged in the categories of Business, Corporate, Nonprofits, Government, Elected Officials, Health, Marketing, Non-Profits Education, Culture, Law and Media. As part of the celebration, this year Negocios Now will publish for the first time its list of the 50 most influential Latinos in the Chicago area.

Negocios Now was founded in 2007 by Clemente Nicado, former international correspondent and one of the founders of  HOY, the Hispanic newspaper of the Chicago Tribune.

The publication has received 14 awards from the National Association of Hispanic Publications and a Peter Lisagor Award from the Chicago Headline Club. He has also won awards from several non-profit organizations such as Gift of Hope, A Safe Haven and the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
