Sponsored by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Civic Orchestra will perform for more than 300 attendees at the Negocios Now –  Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago Gala Event, this Friday, July 8th.

“We are pleased to have the  CSO as part of the celebration of Hispanic success. We appreciate the opportunity to have a presentation of Civic Orchestra,” said Clemente Nicado, publisher of Negocios Now.

The Civic Orchestra of Chicago is one the nation’s premier training programs for emerging professional musicians, and offers them unique access to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra through hands-on training experiences with the Musicians of the CSO, and some of today’s most sought-after conductors, including world-renowned CSO Music Director Riccardo Muti.

“We would like to extend our congratulations to the NegociosNow, Who’s Who honorees,” said Philip Koester, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association. “It is our distinct pleasure to have musicians from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago perform among such a distinguished group of individuals.”

“The CSO Latino Alliance aims to connect the Chicago Symphony Orchestra with the Latino Professional community to create awareness, familiarity and build relationships” said Ramiro Atristain, Co-Chair, CSO Latino Alliance. “We are pleased to share the timeless music and beauty of the CSO with the individuals being honored at the NegociosNow, Who’s Who event. It is a perfect example of how we strive to create awareness and engage our community to discover the magic of the CSO”, said Ramiro Atristain,  Co-Chair, CSO Latino Alliance.

The CSO brings concerts, music classes and awareness of the timeless sounds of the CSO directly to the Latino community through its various neighborhood partnerships.

In the past four years, CSO has been a sponsor of Negocios Now, a national-award winning publication focused on Hispanic Business owners and professionals in Chicago and suburbs.
