Chicago – June 4, 2024 – Chase celebrated the grand opening of its Little Village branch on Chicago’s West Side, just steps from the iconic Little Village arch. The bank has a decades-long history of serving the personal and business needs of this diverse community, and the new branch features culturally inspired architecture and a modern, welcoming interior layout and amenities, reflective of the consultative way Chase’s bankers interact with customers today.

“Little Village is among Chicago’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods, and we are proud to open our newest Chase branch here to serve the community,” said Maria Holmes, Regional Director for Chase. “Little Village is more than a place where we do business – it is home to our consumers, clients, employees, and community partners. We are excited to provide residents on Chicago’s West side with exceptional service to help them do more with their money.”

The branch is located at 3109 W. 26th St. and is part of Chicagoland’s leading branch network, with more than 275 Chase branches in the metro area. Chase staffed the branch locally with 14 employees, including bankers, branch managers, business bankers, and financial advisors. Many of the staff are bilingual and call Little Village home, making them uniquely situated to serve the multicultural communities of Chicago’s West Side.

The unique exterior of the branch features a large arch, inspired by the work of Mexican architect Luis Barragan, and the gateway to the Little Village arch located just a block away, enabling it to blend seamlessly into the dynamic 26th Street corridor.

The interior of the Little Village branch features innovative technology and a state-of-the-art layout. Large windows and comfortable furniture in the central community living room create an inviting space for clients to address their banking needs and connect with Chase financial experts. Self-service transaction areas are available, including three ATMs in the vestibule and one additional ATM inside the branch. The branch also features Chase Private Client offices, free Wi-Fi, and – rare for this area – more than 25 free parking spaces for customers.

“Our new branch in Little Village is a place for both community banking and community building,” said Ofelia Soto, Chase Branch Manager, who grew up in Little Village and has worked at Chase for more than 20 years. “We strive to combine the personal service of a local bank with the world-class talent of a global financial institution, and we can’t wait to serve this community.”

Over the last three years in Chicago, JPMorgan Chase has committed $800 million in philanthropic and business investments by 2025 to increase homeownership opportunities, accelerate wealth creation, help small businesses grow, and expand financial health for local residents, specifically on the South and West sides. The firm has also provided more than $17 billion over the last five years to help finance Chicago’s essential institutions, including hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, and other large corporations and employers.

The Little Village branch is open to the public from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays.
