Catalina Bermudez has developed a passion for solving complex problems and developing strategies that propel the growth of digital payments around the world.
Currently a Senior Manager within VISA’s Corporate Strategy team, Catalina began her career at VISA as part of its New Graduate Development Rotational Program and has since worked in San Francisco, Singapore, and Miami across Merchant Sales and Solutions, Business Development, Digital Partnerships, and Corporate Strategy.
She has had several internships, including one with the Burger King Corporation, as a Leadership Development Program Intern focusing on Latin America Supply Chain and Marketing. She served as a summer intern with VISA Consulting and Analytics in Latin America and was a Marketing & Communications summer intern for the National Federation of Colombian Coffee Growers in Bogotá, Colombia.
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Catalina grew up in Miami, Florida, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Magna Cum Laude.
She is passionate about inclusion and diversity, and a huge proponent in building a cohesive and inclusive team culture.
She believes organizations like HACE elevate the next generation of leaders and empower them to continue to break glass ceilings and reach their full potential.
