Bloomberg named investors Adela Cepeda, founder of Angeles Investors, among the 100 most influential Latinos in the United States.

Cepeda heads the list that includes senior executives such as Richard Gonzalez, CEO and President of Abbvie; former baseball player Alex Rodriguez, founder A-Rod and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Colombian Adela Cepeda arrived in New York at the age of six, studied economics at Harvard and after working on Wall Street, managing public and private debt and equity transactions, she moved to Chicago where she created AC Advisory Inc., a company dedicated to the management, structuring and execution of capital markets transactions for corporations and municipalities. 

After selling the company to PFM, she became managing director of the latter until 2019. She serves on the boards of UBS Funds, Pathway Mutual Funds, chairs Mercer Mutual Funds; is a director of BMO Financial Corp., and just under two years ago created Angel Investors to finance Latino companies.
