Antonio Corona III is a driven and people-oriented information technology leader offering 15 years of information technology, consulting, and management experience in healthcare and financial services.

At VillageMD, Corona oversees a team of engineers working on maintaining and streamlining national IT projects to help transform the way primary healthcare is delivered and how patients are served.

Throughout the pandemic, Corona served as an IT essential worker in Chicagoland. As senior consultant for Spence Consulting, he ensured the medical systems that help physicians and healthcare professionals supply acute care were operating properly. As a senior IT technician at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, he focused on technologies that protected employee health and helped healthcare workers stay connected and engaged.

Since 2016 Corona has served on the board for the Chicago alumni network of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. He has led community service projects in vulnerable Latino communities in Chicago, and he has hosted six scholarship galas that celebrate the achievement of alumni members and grants scholarships to undergraduate fraternity members.

Since 2018, Corona has served as a leader for Boy Scouts of America Troop 1986. In this role he builds positive connections with youth and empowers these students through lessons of skills. He believes that connecting with kids through their shared identities and experiences will encourage success. Corona is a Medinah Shriner and Freemason committed to seeing all humans as equal and to helping build stronger communities.

Corona received a bachelor’s degree from Lewis University and a cyber security training and project management certificate from Northwestern Illinois University. Corona is proud to have been born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and traveling with his daughter and wife.
