Adelante Gala 2025 to honor Claudia Romo Edelman at Steelhouse Omaha

The Adelante Gala, Nebraska’s premier Latino professional event, will be held Thursday, September 4, at Steelhouse Omaha, uniting over 400 community leaders and business professionals.
Claudia Romo Edelman will be recognized at Adelante Gala 2025. She is the founder of “We Are All Human”

The Adelante Gala will take place in 2025 at Steelhouse Omaha, marking the event’s third year. The event is organized by the Latino Economic Development Council (LEDC) in collaboration with Itzel López and the Gala Committee.

This year, the program will include the presentation of the highest honor of Latina Professionals® to Claudia Romo Edelman, recognized for her leadership, global advocacy, and contributions to elevating Hispanic voices. The award acknowledges her career achievements, commitment to representation, and role in advancing opportunities for Latino communities.

The Adelante Gala is expected to welcome more than 700 attendees, including board members, members, partners, and allies from Latina Professionals®, Latino Professionals®, and Latinx Professionals®, organizations founded by Rafael Magaña. The evening will highlight milestones in community development, professional achievement, and collaboration.

In 2024, the event hosted leaders such as Governor Jim Pillen, Donna Kush of the Omaha Community Foundation, Todd Simon of Omaha Steaks, along with senators, council members, and community partners. The 2025 edition is projected to expand on that participation.

The Adelante Gala has grown under the leadership of Itzel López and the LEDC team, evolving from a local initiative into an annual gathering that showcases Latino leadership across sectors.
