Jessica Barrera is passionate about educating and helping families attain their dream of homeownership and future financial security.
In 2018, Barrera served as president of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP Chicago). During her tenure, she and her board planned educational and networking events throughout the year for real estate practitioners and other industry professionals. The events served to educate and empower real estate professionals serving Hispanic communities.
As the founder of West Town Realty Inc., her focus has been in training, mentoring and recruiting active real estate brokers as they have expanded services in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. She believes success is a result of complimenting passion and hard work with the right people, systems, strategies and technology.
Barrera received her bachelor’s in accounting and business management from Robert Morris University. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, former committee member of the Grievance and Global Council with the Chicago Association of Realtors. Her advanced skills and education consist of designations as a Single-Family Residence Representative (SFR) and Accredited Distress Property Representative (ADPR) Short Sales and Foreclosures.
