Pork & Mindy’s hosted its exclusive “Pig Candy” Launch at Mariano’s New City location on March 20th. Pig Candy is a candied-bacon dusted in brown sugar and slow smoked to perfection to make a tasty snack that is a good source of energy and can be taken on-the-go. At the Pig Candy launch, guests had the choice to sample Pig Candy’s Original and Sweet Heat flavors. Additionally, Pork & Mindy’s Executive Chef Jeff Mauro and American All-Star Bo Jackson answered press inquiries and interacted with customers.
Pork & Mindy’s is a creative BBQ concept led by Founder Kevin Corsello and Executive Chef Jeff Mauro. Together, they began shaping a vision for a brand that, at its core, would satisfy “the holy grail” of experiences and do what food, music and art has always done: bring people together. Bo Jackson, who is known to be one of the world’s greatest athletes, is also an avid cook and food connoisseur, and is now an equity partner of Pork & Mindy’s.
