As part of its investment in digital content and its growth strategy, Nicado Publishing Company (NPC)launched a newly redesigned site that seeks to increase its coverage of other cities with large Latino businesses communities.
Clemente Nicado assures that the development of the digital platform around Negocios Now is high priorities in the coming year in order to satisfy the demand for up to date information regarding the thriving Latino business community.
With 14 awards from the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) and a Peter Lisagor Award for Overall Excellence in 2012, Negocios Now ranks as the most awarded Latino business newspaper in the country in the past decade. It also has more than 30,000 followers in its Social Media platform.
NPC is also host of the “Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago” Special Edition and Gala celebrated since 2014 to recognize the most prominent Latinos in the Chicago Area in different categories, and “Latinos 40 Under 40”, an initiative that seeks to highlight the leadership of new generations of Latinos.
“We are happy to have a new digital house for our national-award winning content and to increase our capability to better serve the Latino business community and the growing number of sponsors”, said Nicado.
Nicado said that several sponsors have shown interest in our national project that will maintain the same line of Negocios Now print, but on a larger scale.
“What has made Negocios Now a successful publication is our variety of useful content for the reader we want to reach,” says Nicado. “You might find an article about a company with 800 million in sales, like Liberty Power, and just as easily you could come across coverage regarding small business struggling to get capital to move forward” he added. “We will continue to produce a publication for those who are looking for opportunities and resources that are not easily found in traditional media”, he said.
The site was designed by StickOutSocial, a Chicago based company, and will be in the testing phase for approximately 3 months.
