Founded in 1999 by Gaytan, a former Chicago Police Officer, Monterrey Security is charged with guarding Wrigley Field, Chicago Cub’s home; the Bear’s Soldier Field and Toyota Park, home of the Chicago Fire, amongst other facilities in the City.

Monterrey Security is the first Hispanic company to simultaneously hold agreements with the MLB, NFL and the MLS in Chicago.

The company employs 300 full time workers and some 2000 part time employees, has been growing in the past years and registered sales of $20 million.

In 2016 Negocios Now received a national award for a Monterrey Security’s article written in March of 2015 when the company was selected to guarding Wrigley Field.

Last year Monterrey Security signed a five-year contract to handle another powerful team: The Minnesota Vikings. The Pilsen-based business is responsible today for guarding the security of two rivals, the Vikings and the Chicago Bears, which have been clients for 16 years. Negocios Now wrote another story about this achievement.
