Once again BMO Harris Bank will be the Diamond Sponsor of the annual Negocios Now Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago Gala, to be held July 14 at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Established in 1882, BMO Harris Bank has grown to become one of the largest banks in the Midwest. The company provides a broad range of personal banking products and solutions through more than 600 branches and approximately 1,300 ATMs in eight states. BMO Harris relationship managers draw on a combination of sector expertise, local knowledge and business acumen to help commercial clients realize success.

This is the third consecutive year BMO Harris has committed to be the Diamond Sponsor of the annual gala, which features award presentations for Business of the Year, Community Champion, the Latinas in Business Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award and El Amigo de Negocios Now, along with recognition of one special corporation for its commitment to the Hispanic community.

“We are pleased to support the work of Negocios Now in championing Latino-owned businesses and recognizing the vision of their CEOs,” said Carolyn Booth, Head of U.S. Business Banking, BMO Harris Bank. “This is a great collaborative effort that will help business owners receive the recognition they deserve, grow their network and find new sources of inspiration.”

BMO Harris Bank joins other sponsors that have also announced they will be part of Negocios Now’s unique recognition of the Hispanic leadership in Chicago and the surrounding metropolitan area with a special edition that will be released the day of gala. Negocios Now will announce additional sponsors of the event in the coming months.

Negocios Now is still accepting nominations for the 2017 Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago Special Edition. Candidates will come from a variety of industries including business, non-profit, media, cultural and education, government, healthcare, and the corporate sector.

Community members are welcome to nominate eligible candidates based on criteria that have been established for each category. Nominations can be submitted on the Negocios Now website at www.negociosnow.com/whoiswho. The deadline for nominations is May 8.

A selection committee made up of prominent Hispanic leaders in the Chicago area will choose from the nominees based on the criteria.

“We will have in the upcoming Who’s Who Special Edition prior nominees along with outstanding Latinos who have not been included in previous editions,” said Clemente Nicado, founder, publisher and editor-in-chief of Negocios Now. “This combination of talent is what makes this special edition unique.”
